2015 September l HCV Lead Assessors Training Course

DSC_0097

The course will be a prerequisite for demonstrating basic competency for conducting, evaluating and report writing on HCV assessments under the HCV Resource Network guideline. This is part of our effort to build capacity on HCV assessor requirements in the region. This professional training series on High Conservation Values for Lead Assessors Training combines years of experience and expertise of Wild Asia who has been working to support palm oil producers to meet the expectations of RSPO.

Wild Asia as a recognized organization by the HCVRN, has designed this course following new HCV Resource Network syllabus to allow participants to go through the steps involved in an HCV assessment and apply the concepts and procedure according to the HCV Assessment Manual.

Course Overview

The training course will run over 3 days and covers:

  • HCV background and the ALS Process
  • HCV Assessor and assessment process

  • Reporting HCV using HCVRN templates

The course will be conducted in English.
