Wild Asia Academy: Sustainability for Producers and Markets

Our professional development training is run by the Wild Asia Academy. An arm of Wild Asia that provides both physical and online trainings. The courses available are currently designed to support oil palm growers meet global sustainability standards and for market-actors, we provide courses to help support the uptake of certified sustainable palm oil. Wild Asia is an accredited training provider for the RSPO, HCV Resource Network, and Malaysian HR Development Fund (HRDF).

Palm Oil Producer Series

Our producer series has been developed from practical experience in working with global producers of palm oil – from the very largest organisations to smallholders. These courses have been useful to provide a better understanding of the social and environmental challenges and to provide guidance and case studies to guide organisations to develop management approaches that can mitigate these risks. Ultimately, organisations are able to use this to meet the fundamental requirements of the RSPO or other standards. Learn more

RSPO Lead Auditors Series

One of our longest running RSPO-endorsed training series, covering the two core components of the RSPO Certification System – one for producers and the other for supply chains. The courses targets RSPO members: companies to guide their management systems to meet the certification requirements and for RSPO auditors to improve their knowledge of the RSPO system. Learn more

Palm Oil Supply Chain Series

A series of courses and engagements that are specifically designed for palm oil buyers (Mills, Refiners or Manufacturers). These courses have been useful to provide a better understanding of palm oil, the social and environmental challenges and the trends emerging from the private and public sector in terms of setting commitments towards sustainable palm oil. In addition, the RSPO market claims and supply chain requirements are essential for market-actors keen to support sustainable palm oil. Learn more
